Well, I haven’t made it to the grocery store this week, except to meet with a new coupon buddy, HI KARLA!, but no shopping was done in that trip. I have been craving chili like nobody’s business, even if it is 78 degrees in December, I just love chili… and I have a thing of ground sausage chilling in the refrigerator that calls my name every time I open the door. I did, however, make it to Walgreens to use up some expiring Register Rewards and to CVS for more razors and shampoo… and to use expiring Extra Care Bucks.

TOMORROW is DECEMBER, people! Can you believe how fast this year has just flown by?! I can’t because I turn 30 in 49 days and want to savor every moment of my 20′s, my youth. Heh.

This week I felt like this:

Cracker Jacks

Which explains why I have to post this…

Put up ALL the Groceries

…because I was putting away my last box of diet coke and remembered to take a picture – yea, that’s not happening now. I have not been to the grocery store for normal “people who aren’t living on the stock pile” food in about 2 weeks, so I figure it’s about time. When your sick, the last thing you care about is a coupon or a deal, am I right? The stores pretty much owned me, but I now have 5 chocolate bars and 2 pints of Blue Bell ice cream to devour when my tummy stops rumbling. Without further ado, the matchups~>

My sister text messaged me on Monday that Kroger was having their Buy 10 get $5 off sale, knowing full well I don’t particulalry like shopping there anymore… she apparently does not care about my feelings. Well, Kroger has Swanson Broth priced at $0.29 after the $0.50 discount, so her dis-concern was worth it… I pretty much dropped everything and ran to the Kroger to see it for myself and sure enough, there were pallets lined up, ready for the taking. Tis the season for donations, so I will be heading back to use my $0.40/5 Swanson broth coupons to donate to our local fire department.

TGIF, Friends! How was your week? Our’s was just peachy, we went to have dinner with our daughter on Tuesday at our favorite eatery and we chatted about very serious stuff like Halloween and why zombies should wear suspenders. I told you it was serious. Wish you were there! This weekend our boys have a baseball tournament out of town, so we will be packing lunches and taking snakes snacks to stay within budget this month. Guess who took a week of from the grocery store? Me! It was SO fantastic, if I do say so myself. I did hop into Walgreens for a small deal, but that was it.

I think I was supposed to get a RR for the Biore, but I didn’t have my ad and the line was SUPER long - I’ve seen Extreme Couponer on WAY too many times this week, it pretty much makes me sick, I don’t want to be thought of as one of those peeps. Never mess with men and women in a Walgreen’s line with just milk in their hands, trust me, time is money.

Welcome to the twelfth edition of Frugal On Friday! I am so excited you are here to see and share you recent deals!

This week has been packed full of trips to see my girl, working late every day and a minor melt down that was quickly resolved with a quick phone call. I am SO ready for the weekend, to hang out with my chick and husband, take a long-ol-jog with my running buddy and praise the Lord for another wonderful week on Sunday.

Speaking of praise, I would like to ask a simple request of you, if you don’t mind. My sister has been having really bad headaches lately and praying by myself is just not cutting it because the headaches seem to be getting worse as time wares on. Will you join me in a prayer for Sarah? Lord, we come to you right now to lift up Sarah in your name. Please have mercy on her, release the strong pains that she is feeling in her head and heal her as your strength is mighty. In your precious and powerful name I pray, Amen.

Thanks So Much! Now on to the shopping!
