This morning I cruised on over the Randall’s and HEB after a tortuous 10-miler with my running buddy. I am preparing for My C to get her braces on Monday, so you will notice lots of smoothie and soft foods in the mix. You can bet you bottow dollar I purchased Diet Coke [B2G2 at Randall's] and bread [$1.88 at HEB], but they did not make it to the photo shoot, I was too pooped for fitting them in.

TGIF, Friends! How was your week? Our’s was just peachy, we went to have dinner with our daughter on Tuesday at our favorite eatery and we chatted about very serious stuff like Halloween and why zombies should wear suspenders. I told you it was serious. Wish you were there! This weekend our boys have a baseball tournament out of town, so we will be packing lunches and taking snakes snacks to stay within budget this month. Guess who took a week of from the grocery store? Me! It was SO fantastic, if I do say so myself. I did hop into Walgreens for a small deal, but that was it.

Walgreens

Walgreens 10/14

2 Cottonelle Ultra Toilet Paper @ $5.00 = $10.00 – [2] $1.00/1 – [2] $1.00/1 Ad = $6.00 or $3.00 each [Earn $3 RR WYB 2]

Total $13.55

Total Spent: $8.55

Total Saved: $18.93 or 69% [Earned $3 RR for future use]

I think I was supposed to get a RR for the Biore, but I didn’t have my ad and the line was SUPER long - I’ve seen Extreme Couponer on WAY too many times this week, it pretty much makes me sick, I don’t want to be thought of as one of those peeps. Never mess with men and women in a Walgreen’s line with just milk in their hands, trust me, time is money.

Well, we made it through another week – Congratulations! My big girl job is in the last month of the fiscal year and things are about to get pretty crazy. Thank goodness I have a pretty decent stock of meat and pizzas ready… it’s going to come in handy!

Welcome to the twelfth edition of Frugal On Friday! I am so excited you are here to see and share you recent deals!

This week has been packed full of trips to see my girl, working late every day and a minor melt down that was quickly resolved with a quick phone call. I am SO ready for the weekend, to hang out with my chick and husband, take a long-ol-jog with my running buddy and praise the Lord for another wonderful week on Sunday.

Speaking of praise, I would like to ask a simple request of you, if you don’t mind. My sister has been having really bad headaches lately and praying by myself is just not cutting it because the headaches seem to be getting worse as time wares on. Will you join me in a prayer for Sarah? Lord, we come to you right now to lift up Sarah in your name. Please have mercy on her, release the strong pains that she is feeling in her head and heal her as your strength is mighty. In your precious and powerful name I pray, Amen.

Thanks So Much! Now on to the shopping!
