Well, I haven’t made it to the grocery store this week, except to meet with a new coupon buddy, HI KARLA!, but no shopping was done in that trip. I have been craving chili like nobody’s business, even if it is 78 degrees in December, I just love chili… and I have a thing of ground sausage chilling in the refrigerator that calls my name every time I open the door. I did, however, make it to Walgreens to use up some expiring Register Rewards and to CVS for more razors and shampoo… and to use expiring Extra Care Bucks.

Diet Coke

If you don’t know this already, my family is a fan of Diet Coke. Before we hit the Instanity workout, we were up to about 2 or 3 a day EACH. OMG! So, that being said, we racked up the MyCokeReward points like nobody’s business.

For the next 10 days [two have already passed], MyCokeRewards is having specials each day on various gift cards and coupons. Now is the perfect time to spend your points, especially since the gift cards are mailed promptly and you can use them for Christmas presents!

December 1st– $25 Walmart gift card only 600 points [limit 1]
December 2nd – $5 McDonald’s gift card only 90 points [limit 1]
December 3rd – $10 Dominos Pizza gift card only 180 points [limit 1]
December 4th – $25 Nike eGift Card only 500 points [limit 1]
December 5th – $25 TJ Maxx gift card only 600 points [limit 1]
December 6th – $25 Best Buy gift card only 600 points [limit 1]
December 7th – 2 AMC movie tickets and 2 Drinks only 470 points [limit 1]
December 8th – $25 Home Depot gift card only 600 points [limit 1]
December 9th – $50 Southwest Airlines gift card only 1,200 points [limit 1]
December 10th – $50 Bass Pro Shops gift card only 1,200 points [limit 1]
December 11th – $20 Shutterfly eGift Cad only 200 points [limit 1]
December 12th – FREE 12-pack Coke coupon only 30 points [limit 4]

I will definitely be staying up to get the TJ Maxx gift card on December 5 and Coke Coupons on December 12. I still can’t decide on Home Depot or Best Buy because I can’t get both.

Update 12/5 – I stayed up til 12 to get TJ Maxx, but it didn’t go live for some reason. So I fell fast asleep and when I got up this morning it was already gone, dare you early birds! Looks like it’ll be Home Depot and Best Buy for me!

TOMORROW is DECEMBER, people! Can you believe how fast this year has just flown by?! I can’t because I turn 30 in 49 days and want to savor every moment of my 20′s, my youth. Heh.

This week I felt like this:

Cracker Jacks

Which explains why I have to post this…

Put up ALL the Groceries

…because I was putting away my last box of diet coke and remembered to take a picture – yea, that’s not happening now. I have not been to the grocery store for normal “people who aren’t living on the stock pile” food in about 2 weeks, so I figure it’s about time. When your sick, the last thing you care about is a coupon or a deal, am I right? The stores pretty much owned me, but I now have 5 chocolate bars and 2 pints of Blue Bell ice cream to devour when my tummy stops rumbling. Without further ado, the matchups~>

I also went to Walgreen’s on Monday, it was not a glamorous trip – me, Sprite Zero and Pepto chewies. I don’t even know where I put the receipt, but you get the idea, right?

I would love to see what you were able to pick up this week! Please leave a link or your matchups in the comments!

An amazing thing happened this week – an HEB opened it’s doors right at the front of my neighborhood and I am super happy [I still love you Randalls']. I was considering letting the crowds die down before heading over there – so maybe a week or two since Thanksgiving is next week – but we all know, that won’t happen. If you follow me on Facebook, you saw my thoughts… if you don’t, you should:

Zaycon Bulk Meat Events

It’s time for another round of top quality meats in our area by Zaycon Foods, have you tried them out yet? If not, you should definitely do so now – call your friends to see if they want to go in with you or donate the portion you may not use to your local charity!

My family’s friendship with Zaycon Foods began in November 2010, over boneless whole chicken breasts, and let me tell you, I was shocked, surprised and SUPER happy with my decision to give them a try and have been pimping them out ever since!

The Zaycon team is so efficient, you don’t even have to get out of you car or truck to pick up your purchases, they walk up with your order, put it where you ask and off you go to seal seal seal.

Cypress, Texas area pick up is Wednesday, January 16 at 2pm! [Orders must be placed by 1/16/13 at 11am, or before it is sold out]

Zaycon Fish Events are now ONCE a Year.

Zaycon Salmon
