Have you ever picked up your bible and said to yourself, “Please let it be a good one, I REALLY need it now!” I have been saying it for the past few days – but since I am reading Proverbs at the moment, they are all REALLY good and work for every situation. Today, I am really focused in on Proverbs 22:4-6 which says:
“True humility and fear of the Lord lead to riches, honor, and long life. Corrupt people walk a thorny, treacherous road; whoever values life will avoid it. Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”
Take from this what you will, but I like to think that the way I choose to walk in this world will teach my child the same humility and fear that I boast towards the Lord. If we are to come across a person of non-commitment and corruption, let us display our heart and pray for the ones who value their worldly goods rather than their heavenly riches.
PS – If some treacherous persons are reading my blog, thanks!, and I know I am praying for you!
